   Padmanabhan Sarma – RAE Portables & Wireless Product Specialist US & Canada

Padmanabhan Sarma, also known as Paddy, has 18 years of extensive experience in Instrumentation and Safety sector. His career features notable positions with leading companies such as Honeywell, Jumo, and Berthold Technologies. At Honeywell International in India, Paddy held the role of Senior Account Manager - HGAS for nearly nine years, concentrating on Sales AOP, Channel Management, and Key Account Management for both Portable and Fixed/Hi-Tech Gas Detection. His role encompassed business development, training channel partners and end customers on gas detectors and New Product Introductions and providing demonstrations in key market segments including Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical, and Process Industries. Before his time at Honeywell, he served as an Assistant Sales Manager at Berthold Technologies, where he managed sales and business development for nucleonic-based process instruments across PAN India.

   Charles Simek – Fixed Product Specialist US & Canada

Charles Simek has been with Fire Sentry since 2000 and joined Honeywell Analytics as part of the acquisition in 2012. He has served the Industrial Fire and Gas Detection Industry for 30 years and has been a member of the NFPA Building Safety Section for the last 14 years. Charles is a Subject Matter Expert on Electro-Optical Flame Detectors and is currently based in Pasadena, Texas working for the Honeywell Analytics’ Marketing Team for the Premium Line of Fixed Gas and Flame Detection Equipment, focusing on Training, Industrial Applications, and Product Technology.

He has worked as an Electronics Technician, Technical Writer, Training Coordinator, Inside Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Sales Manager, Account Manager, Business Development Manager, and is currently employed as a Product and Technology Specialist. Charles holds a degree in Applied Science of Electronic Engineering and received a Certificate for Technical Writing from the California State University in Fullerton.

 Alessandro Ferlin  – High Tech Product Specialist US & Canada

Alessandro Ferlin, has more than 20 years of experience in field and laboratory instruments for Food, Pharmaceutical and Oil & Gas industries, Team Management and Software Development. For more than 12 years he has been working in the Gas Detection field by installing, servicing and commissioning portables, fixed devices and gas detection systems of all the most popular brands available in the market. He has a strong background in electronics, IT and Optics and he spent the last two years in the Biomedical field covering a technical role with Fresenius Medical Care after relocating from Italy to United States in 2022.
